It's a Winter Wonderland!
Well, at least to my two and four year old it is!! It's unbelievable that we have had this many days in a row of cold temperatures, rain, sleet, ice, and now snow! We haven't really ventured out in any of the other kinds of weather, but the snow was irresistable this morning...and the girls had SO much fun in the very little snow that we have. :)
Kendyll's favorite thing was throwing snowballs at her cold mommy. And, Carlie's favorite thing was eating the snow. I think she got her "water intake" for today in the form of frozen slush from the front steps. Oh well, the top layer was clean, I hope! Here she is showing her big "snow bite" in her mouth...
I hope all of you fellow Texans enjoy your extra snow day too. I guess it's a great excuse to stay in the fleece PJ's, cancel my errands, and hang out at home! I know I should be sick of this by now, but, being the "homebody" that I am, I'm loving every minute! :)

So fun! The girls look too cute all bundled up!
At about 9:00 this morning I heard this loud noise outside. I looked and there were about 7 or 8 kids outside with their dads, 4 wheelers, and tractors. They were pulling knee boarders from the tractors, throwing snowballs...it was too cute! It will be so much fun when Braden is old enough to really enjoy it!
Looks like fun! I too wish the girls could play together:) Campbell is still sick from Monday so she will not be venturing out in the snow today:( The snow made the week seem a little better. Thanks for always making me feel better with your sweet words.
Glad to see Abby Kate is doing well from the last post. The girls are going to have so much fun with her. May she continue to cooperate for a little longer. Prayers are being sent your way!
We got snow too...but I only have Gracie to take pictures of...and she doesn't sit still very well:) So I won't have any adorable pictures like you have.
I remember being a kid and ANY amount of snow was considered a Winter wonderland...I'm so glad they got some to play in!
Austin and I both got off again today so we are looking at a 2 day week (well, 1 for Austin)...can't complain about that!
I'm glad you got out with the girls. I spent last week in the Northwest with friends - and snow. Thought I'd be escaping that cold coming home! I'm ready for the cold to die down! :) Enjoy your day - Sarah B
The girls look so cute!! This snow day has been lots of fun. I love being at home too. Its not all bad staying in your p.j.'s most of the week... IS IT?
Wow, I can't believe all the winter action y'all have had and it's been pretty calm out our way! We had a few flurries yesterday but they weren't even thinking about sticking since it's been so warm. Have fun.
I wrote this long comment on your post about adding a third and then something happened and I lost it before it posted. Oh well.
I'm glad to hear that all is well with Abby Kate. Maybe she'll come out big enough to sit up on her own...that would help make the transition to three a little easier:). Love you so much!
Those are such fun pictures, Chelsea. We didn't venture out because I didn't think there was enough snow out there to even make a snowball, but looking at your girls' footprints in the sidewalk, I wonder if that's where all of the accumulation is!?!?!
I'm not believing the weather y'all are having. Memphis hasn't seen a snow flurry in some years it seems. Try to blow it our way. I need a day off!!!
