It's beginning to look a lot like Summer!

We're SO ready for summer break around here. And, since school is winding down, and there's more free time and less homework, we have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and the time off.

Today, Abby Kate, Carlie, and I never left our pj's...we played outside, read books, made t-shirts for American Girl dolls,

had naps while watching cartoons,

and waited for Kendyll and Daddy to come home and join the fun.

Earlier this week, we also planted Chase's Corner for summertime, and the girls each got to pick out their own flowers.

They were so proud of what they picked and they worked SO hard to plant it all. As we planted, we talked about what it must be like where Chase is, and how many beautiful gardens he gets to play in. Abby Kate said "Chase loves my flowers. He is on the mountain with Jesus." I just love hearing her words about heaven. I literally felt that fluttery feeling in my stomach and heart, as I watched my three BEAUTIFUL girls digging and getting dirty, while singing and talking about their baby brother.

I am so so blessed.

Oh, how I love summer. And, I love that I will get to do this with all my kids every day in just one more week.
