Prayers for Haiti

One of our dear friends asked me to put this on the blog, to solicit prayers for the Haitian people, as they deal with the aftermath of such a disastrous earthquake that hit their country today.

This family who emailed me sponsors a child in Haiti, named Mackender, listed on this sidebar. They are not sure right now if he is okay or not, and he and his family need prayers! They do know that the earthquake was very near where Mackender attends school, so it is likely that he lives in the area as well.

At this point, they are estimating thousands of deaths, and it is the poorest area of Haiti that has been hit the hardest.

Add the Haitian people to your prayer list. Susan, please keep us posted on what you hear about little Mackender and his family!
