Help Haiti

(Following post written by Kendyll, typed by Mommy)

When I first saw pictures of the earthquake in Haiti, I felt bad for them.

My mommy told me some ways to give money to Haiti to help them have everything they need.

So, I chose that every comment someone leaves me on this blog, I will give the people in Haiti 25 cents.

We will give the money to Compassion.

If I run out of my own money, I will raise more.

So, please give me comments.

Keep Haiti in your prayers!

Love,
Kendyll

(P.S. From Mommy: We have told Kendyll that the amount she ends up donating, we'll match by three times.)

Hey Sweet K -

I have my new photos of you, Carly, and Abby Kate hung right next to my desk in my new apartment, and love to pass by your photo every day!

I'll think of this amazingly kind and selfless gesture every time I pass by it this week. I confess that i haven't allowed myself much time to pray or figure out how to help the people of Haiti, but you've reminded me that every bit counts, and for that I'm thankful to you!

Since you're giving .25 cents for every comment posted, can I send you an extra $25 for mine, so that we can give $25.25 together? Please let me know if this sounds ok.

Love you!
