Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our day trip to Mineola to celebrate some b-days...
It was a Happy Birthday to Paw Paw (who turned the big 8-0!)
and Happy Birthday to Aunt Cassie (who turned the big 2-6!!)
In addition to celebrating with them, we of course found time for hours of playtime with cousins...
Here is the excitement as Braden and Avery arrived. I love watching these running hugs!
My big, sweet girl on the tire swing...
...She made room for two more!
And, excuse the bright sunlight, but have you ever seen a happier baby face than this one? If only you could hear the sweet laugh that went with it!
And I love this shirt...and I love this boy!! (The shirt says: I make DIRT look GOOD! And, it's true!)
One of the biggest blessings we pray for our children is to have best cousin friends on both sides of our families. These pictures make me smile at the cousin lovin'...
A smashing-face hug for AK & Avery:
Can't you feel the love? AK's faces crack me up!And, then the cousin lovin' continued with Caleb! First, Abby Kate just wanted him to take his paci. I mean, from her perspective, as a paci addict, why in the world--if you had it THAT close, would you not want it in your mouth?!
After Caleb resisted for a while, he finally took the paci..and then said "Oh, Cuz, just get over here and hug me!" Caleb is the lover and hugger of the cousins, and makes sure everyone gets their intense squeezing hug Caleb-style. Abby Kate LOVES them...can you tell?! Oh, man, seeing the pictures makes me want one of those squeezes, Caleb!!After our hugging sessions, it was time for the famous Gammy freezer invasion. Push Pops for all! (except Caleb, who was sleeping through it, I think.) This was Avery's first Push Pop experience...and after the first couple of shivers, and checking it out a while, she was sold.
Avery's on the attack!
And, was all smiles as it dripped down her chubby belly.
Abby Kate enjoyed every bite..and also had it running down her not-so-chubby belly.
She knew she was cute, I guess because I kept telling her so. These are some of my favorite AK pictures EVER. Funny, I never got one picture of any other adults! But, I guess they didn't squeeze each other's faces or drool Push Pop down their naked chest. So, what's fun about their picture?!
I did get a few cute ones of my beautiful supermom sister and her sweet kiddos...of course, getting one where everyone is smiling at the same time is always a challenge. But, I still think this one's cute. :)
Okay! I'm almost caught up!! :)

Those are such good pictures! There's too much to say about all of them...and it's all stuff you've already heard...but I love that my kids will get to grow up having cousins as best friends.
Also, I think the picture of Caleb and AK is so funny because it is so much like Austin and me. Caleb definitely gets his love of people/hugging from his daddy!
