Well, to say I'm overwhelmed at the idea of blogging right now would be an understatement. If I had the time (and a computer), I would have updated slowly over the Christmas holidays...but that wasn't an option.
So, here I am with too much to say and over 350 pictures that I just downloaded from my camera.
I just figured out that we had seven family Christmases, and were in the car for a total of 38 hours for our Christmas holiday tour this year....22 of those hours were with three kids in the backseat. (If you read my last blog, you can now see why I was anxious before our traveling schedule even begun.) But, surprisingly, the trips were relatively easy and extremely enjoyable. God answered my prayer for peace and a feeling of contentment for where we were each day. This was another Christmas where I truly look back and thank God for the abundance of family and love that we have in our lives. It is beyond words.
So, once I go through my hundreds of pictures, I'll be back with more of an update. Just wanted to say that Christmas was wonderfully full and we are officially back in town, and trying to get settled again!
Some of you already know this, but the biggest blessing of our holiday season was the addition of sweet baby Caleb to our family. My sister, Cassie, and my b-i-l, Austin became mommy and daddy on December 23rd and we have been counting down the days until he's here for his first visit to our neck of the woods! We made two trips to see him in Austin, and neither one was long enough to get my fill of nephew lovin'!
Hope the Christmas season was a great one for all of you! Be back soon. :)

I've said it before...but how cute is your family with 4 kids?? Caleb misses all of you and can't wait to see you this week...and maybe me too:)
Wow! How did you get all 3 girls to smile for a picture? That is adorable...you need to frame that one. I love plaid Christmas jammies. We have them every year and we will continue to do so as long as I'm in charge! I wonder how much longer I'll be in charge or if I'm even in charge now? Some days I wonder! :-) I'm looking forward to your Christmas blog(s). By the way, Brooke is still limping and she keeps telling me "hurt my foot jumpin' off a camel". Good mommy!
Thank you for the invite! I have missed reading about what has been going on with your family! I can not get over how much Abby Kate looks like Carly! WOW! And the shirts the girls wore to see Santa are so cute! Where did you get them?
I am glad to see that you and your sweet family are doing so GREAT!
Our love to each of you!
I am glad you had a great holiday and got to see a new nephew! Congrats to Cassie (even though she is so not old enough to have a baby already, let alone be married.
Thanks for letting me in ;)!
Hey, the pictures are so great! We are ready for some more holiday update :) Hope you are having a happy new year!
