But, it was a great morning, and the mums and pumpkins were gorgeous. The girls were in awe of all the colors...and of the size of some of those "punkins" (in Carlie's words). When we got home, Carlie ran into Daddy's office and said "Daddy, we saw flars (flowers) and punkins! Big ones!!" (all of this was yelled with HUGE Carlie eyes...I love that.)
And, now for the pumpkin poses...
The next picture shows two forced smiles, only achieved by bribing with candy. What is up with Kendyll's awful fake smile lately??
And, the cute sister pose on the pumpkins didn't work out so well either....Carlie was not happy about slipping off the "yucky punkins".
We have lots of fall festivities coming up over the next few days. A Halloween party at "The Ranch" tomorrow, our fall church carnival on Sunday, Halloween school parties on Monday, and Halloween trick-or-treating with our good friends, Matt, Sara, Hollyn, and Noah on Tuesday. Whew! The festive fall fun might wear us out! But, it's so much fun!!

You're quick! The girls really did look cute today. Those pictures are so good, and I'm glad you included the last one...it's a hoot! I hope all of the kiddos get over their runny noses. Brooke slept for 3 1/2 hours when we got home and then woke up feeling much better and seemed to have dried up a little.
Carlie was so cute walking around to each pumpkin, throwing her hands up and saying "yucky". You should carve up a pumpkin and let her stick her hands inside... that's yucky!
Miller screams "punkins!" every time he sees one too. I LOVE it! What a cute age!
First of all, I love the girls dresses. SO CUTE!
Second...since when do Carlie AND Kendyll look at the camera at the same time? I hope they do that for me this weekend:)
Third, I love Fall and pink noses.
The pictures are so cute and well worth the trouble. The dresses are precious! The last picture reminds me of my girls. Fun times!!
Oh.My.Goodness. PRECIOUS PICTURES. They are so adorable.
Ha! I responded to the pics before reading your blog... I think it's funny that you weren't as happy with the pics, as I think they're great. Kids are so funny how they go through "smile" phases.... we have pictures of me as a little girl going through funky phases of different kinds of smiles. And yes, CUTE dresses.
I love those dresses too -- you always have your girls dressed matching & so cute! Baby girl #3 is going to one lucky kid!
Holding a pumpkin is one of the only ways we can get Seth to stay sitting long enough to even take the picture -- never mind that he isn't looking at the camera!
Those are such cute pictures! I love watching your girls grow!
