*San Marcos for a girls' shopping trip last weekend! It was a fun time away just hanging out with friends, shopping at a leisurely pace, and finding a few good deals. (I actually bought baby #3 TWO outfits if he/she happens to be a girl. If not, I found cute shower gifts for someone else which happen to match my two girls!! Yes, I know, I'm psycho.)
*Kendyll, Carlie, Cailee, and I went to Austin for a few days to help Cassie (my sister) work on her school room. It is the cutest safari jungle room I've ever seen. We had a great time and Kendyll now thinks that Austin, Texas is 100 hours away. :)
*We have been back a couple of days and I still haven't caught up on the laundry and cleaning that I need to. Those five days away have zapped me! So, the last two days have been spent running errands and getting ready for Carlie's big TWO YEAR OLD party on Saturday!
*Alot has happened in blogland since I've been gone. Even if I haven't commented, I have caught up on everyone this morning! Exciting stuff! Friends are moving, going back to school, traveling to meet their adopted child, having anniversaries, going on trips, and posting cute stories of their precious little ones. I LOVE blogs! I feel like I've been gone so long, but yet, still get to hear the biggest things in the lives of those I love.
And, now for the more interesting part of the blog....new pictures.
1) Hat Day with Daddy....while Mommy was shopping in San Marcos, Mark took the girls to get Krispy Kreme donuts, to play at the mall, out to eat, and to a movie. This was the way he decided to fix their hair....

Summertime Fun at the pool has continued, and now the girls like their goggles. These will be funny senior pictures someday!
And, finally, our cousin shot from last night's Ranger game. They all wanted Gammy's lap at the same time. Guess who finally won....my very stubborn second born! :)
I'll be back tomorrow with a two year old tribute to that secondborn sweetheart! It's hard to believe that she turns two in one more day! Gotta go get some Elmo party decorations ready!

I am cracking up at the hat day! When I was in the hospital with Isabelle, Poppy (David's dad) was in charge of dressing AK and getting her to the hospital. She showed up in a Minnie Mouse hat and it makes me laugh everytime I see a picture of that memory. So cute!
You're not crazy. I still buy my boys matching outfits and they are 7 and 4. They have matching swimsuits too. Enjoy it now while you can. It will be harder to find matching things as Kendyll gets into older children's clothes.

Love how Daddy fixed the girls hair. I should suggest that to Charlie with Lexi when he wants to fix her hair. :)
Zane's 2nd birthday party was ELMO also!!! Have fun...can't wait to see some pics!
